Chick Pikmix For Optimal Digestion In Chicks

The Chick Grit Mix helps your chicks' digestion work optimally. Because chickens have a glandular and muscular stomach, it is essential that they always have access to small stones and shells to eat.

You may already know our regular Grit Mix. That is still too coarse for (small) chicks. The Chick Grit Mix has been specially developed for chicks, so that they too get all the necessary nutrients. It also contains a tasty mix of seeds to encourage chicks to eat it well for optimal digestion. It also helps support natural foraging behavior.

You can feed the Chick Grit Mix from when the chicks are 2 weeks old.

Our experience

The chicks really enjoy foraging through the container. You can already see them, at a young age, foraging and scrubbing with their little feet to pick out the best stones, shells, and tasty seeds.

Sometimes nothing happens with the chick grit mix container for days. Then they have enough stones and shells in their gizzard. When they need more, they will start on it again naturally.

Instructions for use

You can offer it in a container or bowl or sprinkle it on the ground. Our advice is to put it in a container that you can also hang up. Then you have less chance of them pooping in it and everything getting dirty.
