Who is this suitable for?
Suitable for chicks from day 2 up to and including week 12, from small breeds (Serama, Bantam) to large breeds (Jersey Giant, Brahma). The pellet is coarser than chick mash, but smaller than standard chick pellets, for optimal absorption by chicks of any size.
Usage & dosage
Offer this feed unlimitedly until approximately 8 weeks, in a chick feeder on an elevated platform for best access. Gradually acclimate chicks transitioning from other feed: some chicks need to get used to it first, but then eat it perfectly well. Always provide fresh drinking water.
And after week 12?
After week 12, you can gradually switch to Complete Chicken Feed for adult chickens. For the first week, mix the old and new feed together, so your chicks can gradually get used to it.
