Coccidiosis is a serious intestinal parasite infection, particularly risky for chicks. Laboratory research has shown that carvacrol and thymol can inhibit the growth of the coccidiosis parasite (Eimeria) — promising, but this is research under controlled conditions, not a guarantee in practice.
